Fleece for handspinners

Fleece for handspinning is available in many colors. The fleece shown in the photo is grey with a little brown, which when carded together
would be a soft light-grey. We sell only entire fleeces; they are normally between 2 and 4 pounds of raw fleece. That would yield half to two-thirds
of the raw weight after washing out the lanolin. Our sheep are many colors, from white through grey, reddish-brown, and down to pure black. If you
prefer a particular color we can send fleece samples. The natural colors can be over-dyed which yields beautiful shades of soft green, blue, yellow,
and so on. For raw fleece we charge $9 per pound, or $12 if you would like us to wash it. (Washing is not hard, and can be done in a washing machine;
we can provide washing instructions.) If you need more than one fleece would yield after washing, we suggest taking two similar colored fleeces and
carding them together before spinning.
